Kindel was creating purchase orders and cost breakdowns by working manually from a printed booklet.
I did some rapid high fidelty prototyping to demonstrate our capabilities, as well as propose a simplified solution that would build the SKU and update the cost as each item was selected.
We bypassed an in-depth UX research process, however I pulled from my years of experience and prior involvement in building other configuration applications.
